SPECIAL COMMISSIONER’S SALE

OF REAL ESTATE

 

Pursuant to certain Decrees of Sale from the Circuit Court for the City of Petersburg, the undersigned Special Commissioner will offer for sale at public auction, at the Union Train Station, 103 River Street, Petersburg, Virginia 23803, on August 23, 2019, at 1:00 p.m., subject to the following terms and conditions and any terms and conditions announced the day of sale, the following described real estate:

TERMS OF SALE:  All sales are subject to confirmation by the Court. A 10% Buyer's Premium will be added to the highest bid and will become a part of the total sales price on each property.  The highest bidder shall deposit twenty percent (20%) of its bid, or Two Thousand ($2,000.00) dollars, whichever is more, which sum shall be credited to the purchase price at closing.  All deposits must be in the form of cash, good personal check, traveler’s check, bank certified check or money order.  The property will be conveyed by Special Warranty Deed, subject to any easements and covenants of record, and any rights of persons in possession. The Special Commissioner expressly reserves the right to keep the bidding open for any length of time, postpone the sale to a later date, withdraw any property, reject any and all bids, review the qualifications of all bidders, and amend or supplement the terms of sale by verbal announcements prior to or during the sale.
