[ARCHIVED] Petersburg Government Offices Closed in Observance of Memorial Day
City of Petersburg Government Offices
Closed Monday, May 28th
City government offices will be closed on Monday, May 28th in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Closed offices include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Parks & Leisure Services, Petersburg Public Library, and Petersburg Freedom Support Center.
Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will remain open on Memorial Day during normal business hours.
Petersburg Area Transit Administrative offices and bus service (including Para-Transit) will be closed on Monday, May 28th. Bus service will resume on Tuesday, May 29th.
Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) residential recycling and residential trash collections will be delayed one day during week of May 28 through June 1 in observance of Memorial Day. All collections during this week will occur on the day following the normal collection day – Friday collections will occur on Saturday.
