City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed for
New Year’s Day
Petersburg, Va: City government offices, including City Hall, the City Hall Annex, and Petersburg Parks & Leisure Services, will be closed on Monday, January 1st in observance of the New Year. Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Tuesday, January 2nd.
The Petersburg Freedom Support Center will be closed on Monday, January 1st and Tuesday, January 2nd. The Freedom Support Center will reopen on Wednesday, January 3, 2018.
The Petersburg Public Library will be closed on Monday, January 1st and reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd during normal business hours.
Dogwood Trace Golf Course will operate during regular business hours on Monday, January 1st.
Petersburg Area Transit administrative offices and customer service will be closed on Monday, January 1st. Bus service (including para- transit) will also shut down on Monday, January 1st.
Regular bus service (including para-transit) will resume on Tuesday, January 2nd.
Central Virginia Waste Management Authority (CVWMA) residential recycling and residential trash collections December 25th-29th and January 1st-5th will be delayed one day.
