Petersburg residents, please stay alert! Excessive rainfall may cause flooding around the river, creeks, streams, and low-lying areas. The forecast is for 1-3 inches of rain, with higher amounts possible in intense storms. Several roads in downtown Petersburg are currently closed due to high water.

Avoid driving through flooded roads—it only takes a small amount of water to lose control or stall your vehicle.
