Petersburg Public Works and Utilities Snow Response Team will begin pretreating bridges and main roads on Sunday morning. The Snow Response Team will continue to work through Sunday and Monday clearing and treating roads as needed.

Citizens should report poor road conditions or fallen trees blocking roads to the Public Works-Street Operations Division at (804) 733-2415.

Police and Fire will also be monitoring road conditions throughout Sunday and Monday as needed.

The City is asking citizens to stay off the roads during the storm if possible. Road crews are better able to cover streets with less traffic. Residents are also asked to use off-street parking when available.

Any power outages should be reported to Dominion Energy at 1-866-366-4357. As always in an emergency call 911.

Petersburg will post updated information on the City website @ www.petersburg-va.org, Facebook @cityofpetersburgva, Twitter @petersburgV and Instagram @petersburg_va.
