[ARCHIVED] Petersburg City Government Offices Closed on November 3, 2020

City of Petersburg Government Offices Closed on Election Day

 

Petersburg City government offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 for Election Day. In April, House Bill 108 and Senate Bill 601, sponsored by Delegate Joe Lindsey and Senator Louise Lucas, respectively, made Election Day a state holiday.

 

Closed offices will include: City Hall, City Hall Annex, Office of Development and Operations, Fiscal Management Building, Parks & Leisure Services, Blandford Cemetery Records Office, Petersburg Area Transit (PAT) Administrative Offices, Petersburg Public Library (Drive Thru), and Petersburg Freedom Support Center.

 

Offices will reopen during normal business hours on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

 

Dogwood Trace Golf Course will remain open during normal business hours on November 3rd. PAT bus service (including Para-Transit) will still be available on November 3rd
