[ARCHIVED] Commemorative Library Cards now available in celebration of 100 Years of Library Services here!

In celebration of its 100th anniversary, the Petersburg Library is thrilled to announce the release of a special commemorative library card. This limited-edition card honors a century of service, learning, and community. 

Virginia Residents and library patrons are invited to get their hands on this unique piece of Petersburg history (no, you do not have to live in Petersburg, VA to receive one). Mayor Sam Parham proudly received his commemorative library card today, marking the official launch of this celebratory initiative. Now, it's your turn to join in the celebration!

“Receiving this commemorative card is not just a way to celebrate our past, but also to look forward to the future of our library and community,” said Mayor Parham. “I encourage all residents to take advantage of this opportunity.”

The commemorative library card is available at the Petersburg Library starting today. Supplies are limited, so we encourage everyone to act quickly to secure their piece of library history. This is more than just a card – it’s a symbol of 100 years of community, education, and growth.
