Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, registration for the 2020 Challenge has been suspended until further notice.

This challenge is the perfect way to kick start your healthy lifestyle. Whether you’re looking for the motivation to get started or searching for a new challenge in your fitness journey, the Petersburg 1,000 Pound Challenge is for YOU. 

Registration forms can also be downloaded and printed online 

While participants can list a team for motivational purposes, each participant must register individually.

Weigh-ins can be completed at the Petersburg Family YMCA, Petersburg Public Library, Tabernacle Life Center (Senior Citizens Only), Department of Social Services (Social Services Employees only), or Virginia State University Wellness Center (VSU students/faculty only)

During the initial weigh-in, participants will be given a "passport" for tracking pounds along the way.

The Final Weigh-in must take place between May 23rd - 29th. The final weigh-in site must be the same as the initial weigh-in site. For those who registered during Don-A-Matrix Day, your final weigh-in site will be the site chosen on your registration form.
